Wrappin Gold: Unseal the Tomb and Walk Out With a 500x Grand Jackpot

4 out of 5
Play'n GO made sure that even before the first spin, you'll know what to expect from Wrappin Gold. And if the name isn't enough, the five-reel, 20-payline grid sitting in the heart of ancient Egypt, framed by pyramids and palm trees under a desert sky, tells its story.
This colorful slot features Bonus Spins, Collect & Win, and Instant Bonus, all mummified inside sarcophagi above the reels, holding up to 500x jackpots.
My base game was mid from the start, wins came every five to ten spins, and hits sat between 0.25x and 2.25x my bet. Wilds that double as scatters did their job to get me there.
After more than 100 spins, the first sarcophagus finally opened, and the grid congratulated me on six bonus spins. In that round, the other bonuses are easier to wake, so you get more shots at the bigger features while this one plays out.
That's exactly what happened to me, as the sarcophagus cracked open again halfway through and dropped me straight into Collect & Win.
Here, a cute Mummy does its weird dance, and Red Gems carrying coin values that fall into its area get added to a running total. Collect enough Red Gems, and the Mummy grows bigger, widening the collection area and pulling in even more coins.
Every few spins I gathered Red Gems, which stretched the round and pushed the Mummy up to a 5x5 footprint before the feature ended. That first round closed around 76x my bet.
A second, weaker collect & win triggered a few spins later and added another 12x, wrapping the session at 88.25x my bet total.
The only missing piece to the otherwise fruitful session was an instant bonus, which fires randomly when a wild lands on the reels. You pick mystery scrolls and match three of the same tier to lock in one of the four fixed jackpots.
Overall, Wrappin Gold lets its tomb keep the best prizes locked tight, so the journey feels slow until the sarcophagi start waking. But when they do, fun is guaranteed.
PROS - Three bonus features
- Collect & Win grows the Mummy
- Grand Jackpot at 500x the stake
CONS - The base game has low payouts
Blazing Dragon Fortunes
played blazing dragon fortunes a bit, got like 80x win on hold&win feature. it works fine but feels same as other play'n go slots. nothing really new, just steady spins and okay payouts overall.
Primal Rampage
This military jungle theme is definitely entertaining. I liked the expanding grid during my session, but the momentum was tough to keep up. It feels okay, just not super consistent for me.
Mandalay Bay Riches
The game runs smoothly and the mechanics are easy to understand, especially the cash coin system. I managed a 75x win in the Hold & Win feature, but the base game felt a bit quiet without frequent features
Shark Feast
The 3D animations and cascading reels look awesome. It’s a high volatility ride, but the momentum is great once features start retriggering. Definitely a solid Play n GO ocean experience.
Mandalay Bay Riches
played mandalay bay riches few hours, got couple small cash coins but nothing big. best hit was around 60x in hold and win, rest felt kinda slow tbh, need more frequent triggers to keep it going
Tome of Madness Bingo
The atmosphere is well done, and the mix of bingo mechanics with slots works okay. I saw a few random multipliers, highest was around x25 for me. It’s enjoyable in short sessions, but I didn’t feel fully engaged over longer play.
